This Sunday marks the beginning of a new era at Community Fellowship as we have our first official Simple Church meeting at the Cearley’s home at 10am. We will begin with a simple brunch together, so bring your favorite breakfasty food.

Our meeting will be very relaxed and informal (family feel--hey, it’s Super Bowl Sunday). How can you prepare, you ask? Bring a chair, Bible, guitar if you like, and a prepared heart to share (see 1 Cor. 14:26).

A few of you have asked about starting your own Simple Church gathering. This is AWESOME! All that the overseers of CF ask is that you go through the Greenhouse training offered March 23-25. CF will reduce the cost to only $60 for a team rate of 5 or more (the actual cost is $110 for a group & $135 for an individual). CF will subsidize each team (group) member $50 per person. All we ask is that you sign up ASAP and put a $30 deposit down.

On March 23-25 CF will host a regional Greenhouse Training for those interested in learning more about organic, simple, missional churches & those interested in leading a Simple Church. The meetings will begin Friday evening at 6pm. Sessions on Saturday begin at 8:30am and will end at 4:30pm (your evening is free). Sunday sessions begin at 1:30pm and will be completed at 5:30pm. It would be good if as many as possible could attend this regional event. To make that possible, CF will be supplementing CF registrants. While the typical cost for those outside of CF will be $135, your cost as a CF team member will be only $60 (see info in Simple Church has begun article).
